Meet the M2 gen 2.
The next generation of the M2 Mobile Dimensioner is available from December 2026, with Android 16, Android Enterprise and an upgraded structured light 3D sensor.
The M2 gen 2 looks and works like the M2: one scan records length, width and height, the barcode and photos, for boxes and irregular items. Three things change inside:
- Android 16. Up to date, with ongoing security updates.
- Android Enterprise. It enrolls in your MDM as an Android Enterprise device, not through the legacy device administrator mode. SOTI certification is in progress.
- An upgraded structured light 3D sensor, for more accurate dimensions.
The same apps run on it, and it works with the S1, the accessories and your integrations as the M2 does today.
