What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job; this policy calls them all "cookies". First-party cookies are set by qboid.ai. Third-party cookies are set by another company's service used on the site, such as Google Ads.
Some cookies last only until you close the browser (session cookies); others stay for a set time (persistent cookies).
The four categories
- Strictly necessary
- Make the site and its chat work, and remember your cookie choice. Always on; they don't need consent.
- Analytics
- HubSpot counts visits and pages viewed. If you send a form, it links those visits to your contact record, so we know what you looked at. Google Analytics counts visits, pages viewed and enquiries, and where visitors came from. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, off until you agree.
- Advertising
- Google Ads records your visit, so we can measure which ad clicks lead to an enquiry and show our ads to past visitors on other sites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, off until you agree.
- Embedded content
- Videos come from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click play. YouTube then stores data in your browser under its own policy.

Our store at store.qboid.ai runs on Shopify and sets its own cookies for the cart and checkout. They are described in the store's policies.
How consent works
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
- On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Nothing is stored in your browser, and no other company's service is loaded, before you answer.
- "Reject all" is as easy to find as "Accept all". You can also choose category by category.
- HubSpot loads only after you accept analytics or advertising cookies, Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies, and the Google Ads tag only after you accept advertising cookies.
- Until then, or if you reject, the chat starts only when you click "Chat with us", with HubSpot's tracking turned off.
- We won't ask again for 6 months unless you open Cookie settings yourself.
- We tell which rules apply from your device's time zone. We don't look up your IP address. If your device reports no time zone, you see the banner.
Visitors in the United States and elsewhere
There is no banner. Analytics and advertising cookies are on when you arrive, and you can turn them off at any time from Cookie settings, linked at the foot of every page.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising cookies are off unless you turn them on in Cookie settings.
Change your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it takes effect at once. When you withdraw consent, we delete the cookies this site set for that category; cookies other companies set on their own domains (such as IDE on doubleclick.net) stay until they expire or you clear them in your browser (see below).
A "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page opens the same panel.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies can stop parts of the site, such as forms, from working, and browser settings don't let you choose by category. Instructions for common browsers:
